Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting or debugging software programs and respective APIs for embedded signal processing components.
• Develops software including streaming feamework APIs, associated testing frameworks, scripting automation, utilities, etc.
• Determines software compability and/or influences software system architecture.
• Creates the relevant documentation, including internal specifications for API and components, and user documentation.
• Participates in mainanence activities for the streaming API.

 Requirements

• C/C++ programming  for embedded /DSP platforms
• Ability to work with large amount of C code, including not own code
• English (writing reports, documentation, reading specifications)

Helpful qualifications:

• Experience with media (audio/video) streaming frameworks and APIs (OpenMax, gstreamer, etc), in using and/or designing components for
• Assembly language programming experience, good understanding of C compiler behavior
• Experience in algorithm optimization ( for speed or memory size)
• Familiarity with audio or video compression algorithms
