Software Developer / C++ for Parallels Automation

You'll be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up like environment. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and feels strongly not only about building good software but about making that software achieve its goals in operational reality. Like others on the team, you'll need strong object oriented design and implementation experience, strong C++ skills, experience developing and working with highly available distributed application systems and an in-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and architecture.

He or she has thrived in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast, has strong OO design and implementation experience, knowledge of C++ development, and in-depth knowledge of C++ development frameworks, tools and patterns.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills.
• Experience building scalable, fault tolerant infrastructure software or distributed systems.
• Knowledge of system performance methodologies along with hands on empirical monitoring.
• Internet and operating system security fundamentals.
• Expertise in delivering high-quality, innovative applications 3+ years of industry experience.
• Strong desire to build, sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases and transactions processing
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals and standard libraries.
• Customer-centric and will have a track record of building quality services.

Optional Requirements:

• Cross-platform development (Linux/Windows)
• Scripting languages (Python, Ruby)
• Knowledge of functional programming languages
• Experience with web services-based applications, especially at massive scale, would be helpful as well.
